Thiago Silva joined Chelsea in the summer of 2020, after a €5M transfer from PSG, where he spent most of his career, 8 years to be exact. In the 4 years he played for the English side, he accumulated over 100 appearances and scored 8 goals from the center-back position.

He became the oldest Chelsea player to score and won the Chelsea Player of the Year award in 2023. By far the biggest accomplishment he has from his time at Chelsea is the 2021 Champions League trophy, the only one he won in his career. In addition, they also won the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup that year.
